If you know, you know. Three lines of black flock script on the front of one thigh, on sheer black 30 denier — the only design in the range that is not set in block capitals. For the ones who get the reference and the ones who just like the energy. IYKYK.
Luigi is my Valentine, set on three lines in a black flock script on the front of one thigh, on sheer black 30 denier. It is the only design in the range not set in block capitals, and the change of voice is the point: a copperplate script reads as sentimental before you have finished reading the words, which is a stranger way to deliver this particular sentence than shouting it would be. The rest is deliberately unexplained. It is the design that gets recognised rather than read — either it means something to you already or it scans as a name and a date, and both of those are fine outcomes. It sells to a narrower group than the rest of the range and that group buys it decisively, usually without needing any of the description above.
Plays best against ordinary clothes rather than a whole look — a plain skirt and a plain top, so the wording is the only unusual thing happening. Anything overtly styled around it pushes a quiet reference into a costume, which is the wrong register entirely. The placement is front-of-thigh at mid-height, so the hem decides whether anyone reads it at all: a short skirt puts it in plain view, a longer one turns it into something only visible when you sit down. Raised flock holds a little texture in low light, so it survives a dark room better than a flat print, which is where most of these get worn.
The script sits on the front of the thigh at mid-height, so leg length shifts it relative to your hem. M fits US 4–8, L fits US 10–14. Between sizes, take the L — script has thin connecting strokes and shows fabric stretch far more readily than block capitals do, so it holds its shape best when the fabric is not pulled tight.
We leave that to the wearer. It is intentionally unexplained: it either lands or it does not, and we would rather it landed on its own than be spelled out on a product page.
No. It is our own original design, made in-house like every other design in the range, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by anyone.
Identical. M fits US 4–8 and L fits US 10–14 across all six designs, so if you already own a pair you know your size. This is the only design set in a script rather than block capitals, and script shows fabric stretch more readily — if you are between sizes, take the L.
